Homemade Play Dough
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
1 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. cream of tarter
Cook in medium saucepan over medium heat stirring constantly. Heat until dough pulls from sides. Divide into smaller balls and add food color. *I usually place the dough in a plastic bag, add the drops of food color, and squeeze outside of bag to mix the color in. Much easier than stirring and not as messy as using your hands.

I remember making this for my kids. It's so fun and works great. In Seattle weather, it didn't last as long as in a dry climate, but while it lasted, play-time was a blast!
